Bulma: Earth’s High-Tech Influencer

5/5 – (1 vote)

A genius influencer’s journey to prepare Earth’s heroes for an unstoppable threat.

In this alternate universe, Bulma Briefs has reinvented herself as one of the world’s first social media influencers. Growing up in a modest household, Bulma didn’t have the wealth and resources of her canon counterpart. Her father, Dr. Briefs, was a brilliant scientist, but without Capsule Corporation’s success, the family struggled financially. But Bulma’s genius and charisma more than made up for it. From an early age, she was a tech whiz and savvy with gadgets, and by her teenage years, she had already figured out how to leverage her talents on the newly emerging Instagram platform. She’d started with tech reviews and DIY gadget projects, but her knack for storytelling and flair soon attracted a huge following.

Instead of focusing on building capsules, Bulma poured her earnings into a new dream: designing a state-of-the-art training center for Earth’s mightiest fighters. She knew firsthand the power and challenges the Z Fighters faced, and with Goku dead and the threat of Saiyans looming, Earth would need them to be stronger than ever. Bulma used her influencer platform to gain sponsorships, pitching her center as a place that would combine the highest levels of technology and fitness innovation. Big companies, eager to be associated with her massive following, poured funds into her venture, enabling her to construct what would become the “Z Center,” an underground facility packed with high-tech training rooms, energy-based sparring fields, and customizable gravity chambers.

Yamcha, her long-time boyfriend in this timeline supported her vision and often appeared on her Instagram feed, where they showed off their training sessions and promoted products together. They had moments of genuine closeness, especially when they trained together as Bulma could use the tech to test Yamcha’s power. Yamcha saw the center as a chance to make a name for himself outside of just being Bulma’s boyfriend; he dedicated himself to his martial arts training, pushing himself harder than ever.

The other Z Fighters, like Goku, Krillin, Tien, and Chiaotzu, were regulars at the Z Center, each training with newfound purpose. Bulma’s lab, which doubled as her office, was always abuzz with her latest inventions to assist them in their training. She had devised special sensors that tracked and analyzed their energy levels, holographic opponents for practice sessions, and even a healing chamber inspired by old Saiyan lore she had uncovered. She documented much of this on her social media, though carefully avoiding anything too revealing to the general public about the true threats Earth might face.

Despite her focus on tech and fame, Bulma never lost sight of her mission. In private moments, she felt the weight of responsibility on her shoulders. She was doing everything she could to prepare Earth’s defenders, knowing that an unstoppable force could arrive at any moment. Her fame and fortune might be new to her, but her role as the Z Fighters’ behind-the-scenes supporter was constant. And even if most of her followers saw her as just a tech guru and social media icon, she knew the truth—that every dollar she earned was bringing Earth one step closer to being ready for the inevitable battle that lay ahead.
