Trapped in the Demon World: Goku’s Trial of Darkness

The battle between Goku and Shula in the Demon World took a grim turn when Shula, fully embracing his infernal might, revealed he had been absorbing the energy of the underworld for centuries. In this version of events, Shula was far stronger than anticipated, having no weakness to the light that had once been his bane. His crimson blade carved arcs of hellfire through the air, and his demonic minions surged in waves. Goku, though valiant, found himself outmatched. The boy’s strength and agility were impressive, but the oppressive atmosphere of the Demon World drained his stamina.

In their climactic clash, Shula unleashed a devastating spell—a torrent of dark energy that engulfed Goku. The young Saiyan fought valiantly but was overwhelmed. As the vortex closed, Shula sealed the portal between the Demon World and Earth, laughing triumphantly. Goku was trapped.

Demon World night time

For weeks—or was it months?—time lost all meaning to Goku in the Demon World. The environment was hostile, with jagged landscapes, rivers of magma, and skies forever swirling with ash. Demonic creatures prowled endlessly, forcing Goku to remain in a perpetual state of readiness. Yet, even in the depths of despair, the boy’s indomitable spirit shone through. Goku trained relentlessly, using every ounce of his Saiyan ingenuity to survive. He discovered hidden pockets of energy, consumed strange fruits that revitalized him, and even befriended a reluctant demon named Kuraga, who admired Goku’s resilience.

Kuraga revealed that Shula’s strength came from a central Nexus Stone deep within the Demon World—a relic that amplified his powers and tethered him to the underworld. Though young and impulsive, Goku realized he couldn’t simply fight his way out. He devised a plan, using his small size and agility to sneak past Shula’s demonic guards. After weeks of preparation, he and Kuraga launched a daring assault on the Nexus Stone.

Their mission wasn’t without peril. Shula intercepted them at the final moment, his rage shaking the entire realm. But Goku, now stronger and wiser from his time in the Demon World, fought with a ferocity that surprised even Shula. Drawing on the primal power of his Saiyan heritage, Goku channeled all his energy into a decisive Kamehameha that obliterated the Nexus Stone. The resulting explosion destabilized the Demon World, creating a brief window for Goku to escape.

As the realm collapsed, Goku bid a bittersweet farewell to Kuraga, who chose to stay behind and rebuild. The boy leaped through the crumbling portal, returning to Earth a changed warrior. Though he was still young, his time in the Demon World had shaped him, giving him a new level of focus and determination. Shula was defeated, the portal was sealed, and Goku’s adventures continued, now infused with the wisdom of someone who had fought through the very depths of darkness.
